The cast and crew of Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming film ‘Highway’ has reached  the picturesque valleys of Kashmir. Alia Bhatt and Randeep Hooda is first worked Imtiaz Ali in this movie. The final shooting is finished by the team. Team was trekked almost 2-3 kms everyday to reach the shooting destination.

After long time once again Kashmir is in the list of famous bollywood movie location. Day by day famous director are choosing local destinations in india rather than foreign places like Switzerland, Dubai and to name a few.

“This has been a very dissimilar Kashmir for us. We trailed with the Bakarwals who are nomadic shepherds and with them saw the high slopes and streams of upper Himalayan Mountains. This is a splendor that we had to trek for hours each day to bring to film.

The entire unit lost weight despite gorging on splendid Kashmiri food. There is so much that Kashmir has to offer, it is amazing. Yet you always feel you have only scratched the surface.” director Imtiaz Ali said.
