The inaugural Yash Chopra Memorial Award, founded by industrialist and MP T Subbarami Reddy and Anu and Shashi Ranjan, saw several film industry star turn up in support.

Singing doyen Lata Mangeshkar was felicitated with the award, which comes with a prize money of Rs 10 lakh and will be conferred upon one excellent film celebrity each year at a glitzy ceremonial held over the weekend at the Grand Hyatt in Mumbai.
