Rakhi Sawant ‘Item girl’ announced that she has formed her own party and would be contesting from the Mumbai North West constituency where Congress MP Gurudas Kamat is engaged in a tough battle with Shiv Sena’s Gajanan Kirtikar.

Bollywood Item girl Sawant has not named her new party but has already decided on her party symbol. No surprises here. It’s a green chilly. In one of the press conferences she came dressed up as a green chilly.

While none of the other political parties are worried about Rakhi’s application she claims that she is facing pressure from other parties like the Congress, BJP and AAP to withdraw from the contest. Rakhi Said “I have got threat calls to extract but I am here to stay. She told “I don’t know how to play politics. I am here to solve the problems of common man. My aim is to do good work for the civilization. I am not determined to become a politician. She is likely to launch a party with green chilli as its symbol.
