This is the first film Imran and Kangana work together in Katti Batti . In the film, Kangna Ranaut plays the role of a modern and unconventional girl who hails from an affluent family in Delhi. She plays the role of an arts student and Imran Khan is supposedly her batch mate Maddy Sharma, who hails from a middle class family.

Apparently, the film deals with a relationship where the thoughts of two individuals from different backgrounds clash.
