Priyanka Chopra inaugurated Healthcare Global Enterprises Ltd’s (HCG) first complete cancer centre in Mumbai, in collaboration with Dr Balabhai Nanavati Hospital, on Monday, October 21.

Priyanka Chopra said “HCG is doing a creditable job of making cancer treatments available and reasonable to the common man. It gives me huge pleasure in inaugurating HCG’s 27th Cancer Centre, and its first at Mumbai.”

She added “The services that this cancer centre has will absolutely help bridge the gap of the lack of infrastructure and technology which is much desired in the fight against cancer.”

The BNH HCG Cancer Centre is equipped with higher technologies in the treatment of cancer. The centre comprises of a dedicated cancer ward, comprehensive radiation therapy, a Nuclear Medicine department, a fully equipped surgical oncology centre, a 64-slice PET CT machine, an Automated Breast Volume Scanner (ABVS), the digital mammography machine, specialized day care beds for chemotherapy and a Histopathology department.
