Vidya Balan to Play Detective Role in Bobby Jasoos Movie

Vidya Balan, who is known for her tough roles, is joining the association of Bollywooddetectives. Upcoming filmBobby Jasoos: Vidya Balan to play a female detective role. Vidya Balan says “The idea of playing a female detective was appealing. Also, the movie title conspiracy me”. ‘The Dirty Picture’ heroin will be seen playing the role of a detective in a film titled by ‘Bobby Jasoos’.

Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor (‘Jagga Jasoos’) and Sushant Singh Rajput (‘Byomkesh Bakshy’) are also turning for their respective films. The script is written by Sanyukta Chawla and is to be directed by Samar Shaikh.

The film will release around  in mid-November and is set for a summer 2014. Dia Mirza says She was an clear choice. She is a motivation performer who has not been seen in such a break. Also, there are several layers to the character — she’s intrusive, curious, intelligent, an out-of-the-box thinker and quick on her feet  and it just syncs so well with Vidya’s personality.
